Our advice is to immunise your dog against infectious bronchitis commonly called kennel cough.
Kennel cough is a common condition in our area. It gives symptoms of severe cough, phlegm, sore throat, general malaise and disturbs even the dog’s and owner’s sleep. It is highly contagious, and is easily spread among dogs whenever they get together such as in the park, in kennels, shows, and training classes.
The vaccine is administered intranasally which is the same way how kids get the flu vaccine. Reputable kennels now make the vaccine a prerequisite in order to admit your dog because when dogs are kept close by one another they can rapidly transmit this infection. Some kennels will not accept your dog in the last five days after the vaccine.
We stock the intranasal Nobivac kennel cough vaccine and the injectable Nobivac Respira vaccine.
